Experts control their time and expertise. Customers are responsible for the agents they authorize. Every session needs a clear scope, a disclosed price, and respect for the people and information involved.
Your agreement with Werker, Inc.
These terms are an agreement between you and Werker, Inc. (“Werker,” “we,” “us”) and govern your use of the Werker website and marketplace, including access through an app, API, MCP server, or CLI. “Customer” means the person or organization requesting expertise; “expert” means the individual providing it. An AI agent acts for its customer and is not itself a party to this agreement.
You must accept these terms before creating a marketplace account or confirming a paid booking. A person accepting for an organization must have authority to do so. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter the agreement. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms; our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
The expert relationship
Werker connects customers and their agents with human experts for paid conversations. Experts choose the expertise they offer, their availability, their rates, and which engagements they accept. Customers choose whom to book and what help to request.
A confirmed booking records the agreement between customer and expert about the session’s scope, duration, price, and any additional agreed terms. Werker facilitates that relationship. Merely using the marketplace does not make an expert an employee of Werker or the customer; applicable law determines any employment or other legal status.
Experts must describe their experience honestly, accept work they are qualified and permitted to do, and comply with their own professional, employer, confidentiality, licensing, and tax obligations. An anonymous public profile does not excuse false qualifications or false information supplied for payment or verification.
Session scope and participation
Before confirming, agree on the topic, expected duration, start time and time zone, price, and any recording or deliverable requirements. Provide enough context for the expert to decide whether the session is appropriate. A call buys the agreed time and expertise; it does not guarantee a particular business result.
Join on time with a suitable connection. Ask before extending a call or changing its scope; additional paid time needs a further agreement. Either participant may end an interaction that becomes unsafe, abusive, unlawful, or materially different from the agreed request. Report the issue so payment for the session can be assessed fairly.
Advice is contextual and can be incomplete or mistaken. Customers remain responsible for reviewing and using it. A session does not automatically create a lawyer–client, clinician–patient, fiduciary, or other regulated professional relationship.
Prices and payments
The amount, currency, applicable platform fees and taxes, and cancellation terms must be disclosed before a booking is confirmed. Use a payment method supported for that transaction and one you are authorized to use. Experts must supply the information a payout provider lawfully requires.
Card payments and payouts are subject to the relevant payment provider’s terms. Agent-initiated payments, including a supported x402 transaction, must stay within the customer’s authorization. Check the network, asset, recipient, and amount for wallet payments: blockchain settlement can be irreversible, and network fees or exchange-rate changes can affect the total.
Do not send funds in response to an expert’s or agent’s request to “verify” a wallet, unlock work, or release a payout. Never disclose a wallet seed phrase or private key. Tell us about suspected fraud at hello@werker.ai.
Cancellations and disputes
A cancellation or no-show charge must be disclosed before confirmation to apply. If an expert cancels or cannot provide the agreed session, the customer is entitled to a refund for the service not provided, including associated platform fees, unless the customer chooses to reschedule. Mandatory refund and consumer rights always apply.
For a late arrival, connection failure, disputed charge, or a session that ends early, contact hello@werker.ai with the booking reference and a short description. We may request relevant records from both participants and consider the agreed scope, time delivered, and circumstances. Do not create or share an unauthorized recording as evidence.
Any refund is handled through an appropriate supported method, subject to the payment provider’s processing time. A technical inability to reverse a blockchain transaction does not, by itself, extinguish a valid refund obligation. These terms do not restrict lawful payment disputes or chargeback rights.
Confidentiality and session materials
Only disclose material you are authorized to share. Respect information marked confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential; use it only for the agreed session or project and do not disclose it beyond people or service providers authorized for that purpose. A separate confidentiality agreement can add protection, but cannot authorize unlawful conduct.
Participants keep ownership of their existing materials and intellectual property. Subject to agreed restrictions, an expert permits the customer and its authorized agent to use advice and session output for the project described in the booking. A session does not automatically transfer ownership of source materials, templates, software, or other pre-existing work.
Do not record, transcribe, publish, or redistribute a session without the necessary disclosures, permissions, and legal basis. Model training, voice cloning, advertising endorsements, and public use of an expert’s identity require separate, explicit permission. Permission to participate in a call is not permission for those uses.
Platform and public content
You may use Werker through the interfaces and access permissions we provide. Respect rate limits and security boundaries. Open-source code, where separately distributed, is governed by its accompanying license.
You retain ownership of material you submit. You give Werker the limited permission needed to host, display, and process it to provide the service you request, including showing the profile details you choose to make public. This is not a transfer of ownership or an unrestricted right to reuse session content.
Public ratings and descriptions must be honest. Illustrative profiles, rates, and integration examples on the website are demonstrations and are not binding offers from real experts. Report infringing content to hello@werker.ai, identifying the work, the location of the material, and your authority to make the report.
Availability and responsibility
We work to keep the service usable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, that every expert is suitable for every request, or that an agent’s interpretation is correct. Third-party calendar, payment, meeting, and agent services can have their own outages and conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional implied warranties, and Werker is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the marketplace. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Each participant remains responsible for their own conduct, permissions, and obligations. These terms do not make you responsible for Werker’s own unlawful conduct.
Restrictions and ending use
We may restrict access, remove content, revoke credentials, or cancel affected sessions when reasonably necessary to address policy violations, fraud, security risks, or a legal requirement. We may act immediately when delay would expose people or the service to harm.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will explain the action and allow you to request a review at hello@werker.ai. You may stop using Werker and request closure of your account. Ending access does not erase outstanding payment obligations or valid refund rights. Confidentiality, ownership, and provisions needed to resolve an existing dispute continue to apply.
Questions, disputes, and changes
Contact hello@werker.ai first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction. Applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections remain in effect.
We may revise these terms, update the date above, and give additional notice of material changes as required. Changes do not retroactively alter a confirmed booking. Where a new agreement is required, we will request acceptance. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
